Untitled, Music for The Spectators was commissioned for Pam Tanowitz's The Spectators and performed on May 16, 2013 at New York Live Arts.

The score is an exploration of the musical idea of fanfare, and attempts to catch and play off of the moments when regal, ceremonial movement seems to be hinted at by the choreographer.

Instrumentation: Trumpet, Minimoog, drums, Yamaha Electone Organ, acoustic guitar, upright piano, iPhone, percussion, cello, violin, closing door, ocean. Trumpet: Joe Ancowitz
